Enduro6, Catton Park

A new season of racing begins and once again the team take on the challenge of the Enduro6 - six hours of constant racing to get those legs in action. Pete did a solo run and Dave and Mick were due to enter as a pair, but due to Micks collar bone injury Dave was forced to do it solo.

This year the boys didn't enter any of the Saturday races and turned up first thing Sunday morning for the big event. The conditions were pretty much perfect. The ground was firm enough to stop any slipping around and the sun and rain didn't make much of an appearance. This made it nice a cool ride.

The supporters turned turned up at regular intervals but as usual the old man was there the whole race holding up the pits for Dave and Pete. Both attacked the race with different attitudes. Pete used it as a warm up ready for his solo 24hr race in July. Dave had some fun and justed loafed round the course (his words). Every time Dave spotted someone he could chat to it was a great excuse for a 10 minute break.

Take a look at Pete's results - Click Here. It was a good respectable 39th position for Pete. Here's a look at how Dave loafed around the course - Click Here. Hopefully more photos will appear at a later date.
